Emerald in Diamond Petals

Original cluster with a clear facetted Emerald in cushion cut of approximately 1.4 ct in yellow 14 K gold. Emeralds are a green variety of beryls. They owe their colour to traces of chromium and vanadium. In many cultures the vivid green of the Emerald symbolises spring and rebirth.
The sea green shade of the emerald and the yellow gold of the setting make a war and colourful combination.
