Brooch with diamonds approx. 1.20 ct and pearls in silver and gold, Autro-Hungary XIX century

Antique brooch with diamonds and pearls made in the middle of 19th century probably

in the area of ​​the then Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The main decoration of this copy

there are beautifully shimmering diamonds in the former cut of the pillow – cushion enclosed in

dark silver abgedeckt (abdek) bindings – difficult binding technique

diamonds characteristic for jewelry from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

The brooch is perfectly symmetrical, it is decorated with precise, delicate gold and silver openwork,

silver and chiseled gold, and 4 very white and well preserved pearls for their age.

An example of antique and collectible jewelry from the nineteenth century preserved in the original

excellent condition, craftsmanship of old crafts and a project full of balanced proposition

and thoughtful aesthetics and style.

in VS-P purity and G-H color (central diamond in old miner cut with a mass of approx. 0.35 ct)

and 12 diamond rebounds
