Victorian coral secret locket in 18K gold
Charming English pendant from the beginning of the twentieth century. The double braid in the form of twisted ropes surrounds 7 corals arranged in a flower on the smooth gold background. The central, larger coral has a delicate decoration of a rose cut diamond against the gold star plan. Secret lockets are an example of sentimental, historical jewellery. They were particularly popular in the second half of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century.
